The scheduled Tribe children in class V of various schools can participate in the sports selection trials which will be held in various districts of Kerala in the month of February/March every year. Notification regarding this will be disclosed through medias, Tribal Development Office etc. Under the invigilation and guidance of sports technical committee, the selection process will be held in a smooth and transparent manner. The short listed childrens will be informed to participate in the assessment camp, which will last for approximately one week. The basic and arithmetic skill also will be assessed there.

A total number of 60 students (30 girls & 30 boys) will be selected every academic year for the admission to class VI. If any child from the main list fails to report on given date of admission or fails to submit the relevant documents/ certificate, the chance will be gone to the student on supplementary list as per priority. Admission is restricted to ST children of Kerala only. The administrative department or head of the institution will have the right to take decision during a crisis. The following documents should be submitted to school office during the time of admission, otherwise his/her admission will be rejected.
